A special community event was held Friday at Spring Valley Village Hall to celebrate the retirement of Mayor Alan Simon after eight years of dedicated service to the village.
The event, attended by village officials and local residents, recognized Mayor Simon’s leadership and numerous contributions throughout his tenure.
It also served to welcome and congratulate Mayor-Elect Schenley Vital, who will soon take office as the new mayor of the Village of Spring Valley. Community members and officials gathered to honor the outgoing mayor and extend best wishes to the incoming administration.
