SPRING VALLEY: High-Speed Chase Ends in Crash and Arrest Late Sunday Night

A suspect led Rockland County Sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed chase late Sunday night after fleeing a traffic stop on North Main Street around 11:30 p.m.

The pursuit ended when the suspect’s vehicle crashed into several parked cars at Nir and Paul Auto Mechanic, located at the intersection of South Main Street and East Furman Place. The driver then attempted to escape on foot but was quickly apprehended by law enforcement.

Spring Hill EMS treated the suspect at the scene while in police custody. Spring Valley Police also responded and assisted at the location.
