SPRING VALLEY: Firefighters, Police Officers and Residents Treated for Smoke Inhalation After Fire In An Apartment Complex on Union Road

A fire in an apartment building in Spring Valley, located at 14 Union Road near Maple Avenue, necessitated medical treatment for smoke inhalation for both firefighters, police officers and residents on Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency personnel, including firefighters, police, Chaverim Of Rockland and medical personnel from Rockland Hatzolah and Spring Hill EMS, were on scene to control the fire and treat those affected by smoke. The incident, is under investigation to determine its cause and prevent similar occurrences.
