SPRING VALLEY: Firefighters Battle Suspicious Blaze on Memorial Park Drive; Arson Suspected

A structure fire broke out at a building under construction at 22 Memorial Park Drive on Thursday morning at approximately 7:20 a.m., prompting a massive emergency response.

Firefighters from the Spring Valley, Hillcrest, Nanuet, and West Nyack Fire Departments, are on the scene working to contain the flames. Spring Hill EMS and the Spring Valley Police Department, are on the scene as well.

Sources tell Monsey Scoop that arson is suspected in the blaze. As a result, the Rockland County Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) has been called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
