SPRING VALLEY: Firefighters Battle Massive Blaze at Abandoned House On North Madison Avenue

Firefighters from multiple departments are battling a massive blaze that broke out behind 35 North Madison Avenue at approximately 10:30PM on Thursday night evening. The fire, which began in a shed, quickly spread from ongoing winds to an abandoned house on the property.

Authorities report that the house was known to shelter homeless individuals, several of whom were seen fleeing the scene as the fire erupted. It remains unclear if anyone is still inside the structure. Firefighters are conducting a thorough search while continuing efforts to contain the flames.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and no injuries have been reported at this time. Residents are urged to avoid the area as crews work to extinguish the blaze. Updates will follow as more information becomes available.
