Spring Valley Fire Department Conducts Hands-On Training at FTC

Members of the Spring Valley Fire Department gathered last night at the Rockland County Fire Training Center (FTC) for an intensive hands-on training session. The focus of the evening was on mastering cutting techniques and honing roof operation skills, both critical aspects of firefighting operations.

These training exercises are part of the department’s ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and safety during real-life emergencies. By practicing in a controlled environment, firefighters can sharpen their skills and prepare for the challenges they may face in the field.

Spring Valley’s Fire Chief Ray Canario told Monsey Scoop, “Training like this is essential to ensure that our team is always ready to serve and protect our community,”
