A driver was taken into custody Wednesday morning after rear-ending a Ramapo Police vehicle near the Finkelstein Library and attempting to flee the scene.
The suspect tried to escape by driving into the library’s parking lot but was quickly intercepted by a Spring Valley Police officer.
The driver was arrested and transported to the hospital for evaluation, with authorities suspecting drug impairment.
