Spring Valley Deputy Mayor Yisroel Eisenbach Appointed to Rockland County Sewer District 1 Board

In a notable appointment, Spring Valley Deputy Mayor Yisroel Eisenbach has been selected by the Rockland County legislators to join the Board of Commissioners for the Rockland County Sewer District Number One.

The appointment came following the resignation of Spring Valley Mayor Alan Simon from the Board of Commissioners. By law, a representative from Spring Valley is required to be on the board, making Eisenbach a fitting candidate. This need for representation led to Town Of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht reaching out to Deputy Mayor Eisenbach, inquiring if he would consider taking on the role. Eisenbach, known for his dedication to community service, did not hesitate in his response.

“I never refuse an opportunity to help the community,” Eisenbach stated. Reflecting on his willingness to take on additional responsibilities, he added, “There’s a saying: if you want something done, give it to a busy person. Somehow, they find the time to get things done.”

Eisenbach expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, emphasizing his commitment to serving the best interests of the community. “I’m excited and looking forward to serving as a commissioner. This role allows me to look out for the well-being of all communities, especially the village of Spring Valley, within Rockland County Sewer District Number One.”

Eisenbach’s appointment is seen as a positive step for the community, ensuring continued representation and dedicated service on the Sewer District Board.
