At approximately 3:15 AM on Thursday, a sharp-eyed Chaverim of Rockland volunteer on patrol spotted a suspect actively stealing packages on Twin Avenue.
The volunteer immediately called for backup and alerted Spring Valley Police. Officers responded swiftly and, with assistance from the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, they arrested the suspect a short time later.
All stolen packages were recovered and safely returned to their rightful owner.
