A fire that broke out in the ceiling of Food Fair in Spring Valley on Sunday at approximately 12:30 p.m. was quickly brought under control and extinguished by responding firefighters.
The Spring Valley, South Spring Valley, Hillcrest, and Monsey Fire Departments responded to the scene, along with the Spring Valley Police Department, New York State Police, Spring Hill EMS, and Rockland Paramedics.
Emergency crews worked to ensure the fire was fully extinguished and that the building was safe. No injuries were reported.
