SPRING VALLEY: Box Truck Pulls Down Wires in On South Madison Avenue, Damages Car Windshield, and Flees Scene

Early this morning at approximately 6:45AM, a box truck traveling along South Madison Avenue near Singer Avenue tore down wires connected to a construction site. The fallen wires landed on a nearby car, cracking its windshield.

The driver of the box truck fled the scene following the incident. Emergency personnel, including the Spring Valley Fire Department, South Spring Valley FD, and Spring Valley Police, arrived promptly to secure the area. Orange and Rockland Utilities were also on site to repair the downed wires and restore safety.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Authorities are investigating the incident.
