On Sunday, Spring Hill EMS, along with Faist EMS, Tuxedo EMS, and Lenape EMS, participated in the Tri-County Youth Corps Invitational Event for Spring 2025 RTF Training, held at Spring Valley High School.
The training focused on strengthening responder skills and enhancing real-time feedback techniques. EMS members engaged in interactive exercises with law enforcement, designed to challenge participants while fostering collaboration, teamwork, and professional growth. “It was inspiring to see everyone’s commitment to personal and professional development,” Spring Hill EMS Chief Eli Ungar told Monsey Scoop.
Special thanks were extended to Spring Hill Medical Directors Dr. Mao and Dr. Kim, as well as Youth Squad Advisors EMT Brull and EMT Glatzer, for organizing the valuable training. Additional key support came from Thomas Carton, Coordinator of Safety and Security at the East Ramapo Central School District; Spring Valley SRO Officer Evelyn; Director Chris Strattner of the Rockland County Police Academy; Thomas Koziak, Strategic Safety and Security Coordinator for Rockland County; the Village of Spring Valley Police Department; the Town of Ramapo Police Department; and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Communications Division.
Spring Hill EMS also thanked all the participants, agencies, and partners who contributed to the success of Sunday’s event, helping ensure responders are better prepared to protect and care for the community.
