Spring Hill EMS has officially expanded its emergency response capabilities, adding new vehicles to its fleet to better serve the growing needs of the community. The agency now operates 11 ambulances and 6 fly cars, a significant boost aimed at improving response times and ensuring high-quality care during emergencies.
The expansion comes as Spring Hill EMS continues to experience an increase in call volume. In the past 24 hours alone, its responders were dispatched to more than 40 calls, including incidents involving pedestrians struck by vehicles, motor vehicle accidents, severe trauma cases, cardiac and respiratory emergencies, imminent childbirth, and assaults. The agency also handled DOA (dead on arrival) calls.
The new fleet additions are expected to strengthen Spring Hill EMS’s Advanced Life Support (ALS) program and its Special Operations Unit, both of which play key roles in managing complex medical and trauma emergencies.
Spring Hill EMS expressed deep gratitude to its dedicated members, who respond around the clock with professionalism and compassion. Their commitment, officials say, continues to be the foundation of the agency’s success and growth.
