Spring Hill EMS Assists in Two Crashes on the Palisades Parkway on Saturday

Spring Hill EMS responded to two separate accidents on the Palisades Interstate Parkway on Saturday afternoon, assisting multiple agencies in caring for several patients.

At approximately 2:35 PM, Spring Hill EMS, along with Rockland Paramedic Services, the New York State Police, and Hillcrest Fire Department, were dispatched to the northbound side of the Parkway between exits 11 and 12 for a single-vehicle crash with reports of possible entrapment. Upon arrival, all three occupants had self-extricated from the vehicle. They were evaluated at the scene and transported by Spring Hill EMS ambulances to a local hospital in stable condition.

As units were clearing that scene, a second call came in reporting a multi-vehicle accident northbound between exits 10 and 11. Mutual aid was requested for New City EMS. Nanuet Community Ambulance Corps responded with three ambulances, while Spring Hill EMS dispatched two additional ambulances. Several patients were transported to local hospitals, all in stable condition.
