SOUTH MONSEY: Swift Response by Monsey Fire Dept Contained Attic Blaze on Saddle River Road

At approximately 8:20 a.m. Wednesday morning, emergency personnel responded to an active attic fire at 271 Saddle River Road, near Keith Drive in South Monsey.

The Monsey Fire Department led the response, with assistance from the South Spring Valley and Spring Valley Fire Departments, Faist EMS, and the Ramapo Police Department. Monsey Fire Department’s RAC unit was also on scene.

Thanks to the Monsey Fire Department’s swift response, the fire was quickly brought under control, and the structure was saved from serious damage.
