SOUTH MONSEY: Overturned Car in Single-Vehicle Crash on Saddle River Road; Driver Flees

A single-vehicle accident occurred on Saddle River Road near South Monsey Road, involving an overturned car that crashed into a pole. Sources tell Monsey Scoop that an intoxicated individual, possibly the driver or another occupant of the vehicle, fled the scene following the crash.

A witness told a Monsey Scoop reporter at the scene that they saw what appeared to be the driver fleeing the vehicle and jumping into another car, which then sped away.

Emergency personnel, including Hatzoloh EMS, Faist EMS, the Monsey Fire Department, Chaverim of Rockland, and the Ramapo Police Department, quickly arrived on the scene to manage the situation and assist with the aftermath.

Authorities are investigating the incident and searching for the individual who fled. Further updates will be provided as the story develops.
