SLOATSBURG: Spring Hill EMS and Emergency Personnel Rescue Hiker on Blue Disc Trail

At approximately 8:30 AM this morning, Spring Hill EMS Ambulance, Rockland Paramedics, and other emergency responders were called to the Blue Disc Trail in Sloatsburg to assist a female hiker who had passed out.

The hiker was located about half a mile into the trail. Using an all-terrain Gator vehicle, responders safely extracted her from the woods and transported her to a nearby hospital for further medical care.

The operation was supported by the Sloatsburg Fire Department, New York State Park Police, and New York State Park Rangers, highlighting the importance of coordinated efforts in successful rescue missions.
