The Skvere Rebbe of Monsey recently traveled to Eretz Yisroel to be menachem avel members of his family following the petirah of his mother-in-law, Rebbetzin Chana Esther Twersky A”H, wife of HaRav Velvel Twersky of Rachmistrivka Zt”l.
According to a notice distributed among Chassidim, the Rebbe spent time with the family during the aveilus period and visited Mekomos Hakedoshim throughout Eretz Yisroel during the trip.
Sources tell Monsey Scoop that the visit was especially notable, as this marked the first time since the Rebbe established his Beis Medrash in Monsey that he left for Shabbos.
The Rebbe departed approximately two weeks ago on Wednesday and has since returned home following the meaningful visit.
