Senator Weber Pays Shiva Visit, Discusses Advocacy For School Choice

During a Shiva call for R’ Moshe Kaufman, owner of Quality Air Cooling, Senator Bill Weber was asked about the high school taxes in Suffern and surrounding areas.

Senator Weber said, “In Albany, I’m not focusing on lowering school taxes directly, but rather on making those school tax dollars work for Yeshiva parents.”

He went on to say, “I’m advocating for school choice, allowing parents to choose where their children are educated.”

This initiative, according to Senator Weber, could save some parents a significant amount of money annually in tuition costs.
