Senator Bill Weber continues to offer a pothole reporting portal for residents across Rockland County, providing a simple way for the public to report dangerous road conditions and help ensure that repairs are addressed as quickly as possible.
The portal allows residents to submit the locations of potholes and other roadway hazards directly to Senator Weber’s office. Once a report is received, the information gets directed to the appropriate agency responsible for maintaining the roadway, whether the road is managed by the state, county, or a local municipality.
Potholes have long been a concern for drivers across Rockland County, especially during the winter months when freezing and thawing conditions cause pavement to crack and deteriorate. Damaged roads can pose safety risks to motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians and also cause costly vehicle damage.
The reporting portal proved to be a valuable resource for residents last year, with many community members using it to alert the Senator’s office to road hazards in their neighborhoods. By providing a centralized tool for reporting issues, Senator Weber’s office helped ensure that these safety hazards were communicated directly to the agencies responsible for making repairs taking the guesswork out of determining whether a road is maintained by the state, the county, or a local municipality.”
“Since last year, the portal has been a tremendous success and extremely helpful for residents across Rockland County,” Senator Weber said. “When people report a pothole, they want to know that someone is listening and that the problem will be addressed. This tool allows residents to easily report hazards, enabling my office to make sure the information reaches the appropriate agency and is dealt with in a timely manner.”

I reported huge craters in Monsey on Viola rd yesterday in gorgeous weather.. there’s absolutely no excuse not to fix them or to cover them and today I busted two tires in the exact potholes that I reported yesterday. The only way to avoid them was by driving into oncoming traffic so I chose the smarter choice killing two tires..
