United States Senator Ted Cruz of Texas headlined a special event in Monsey on Thursday evening in support of Congressman Mike Lawler.
The event was held in the lobby of Downtown 33 office building, drawing a large crowd of community members and supporters.
The program opened with a stirring rendition of the U.S. National Anthem performed by popular Jewish singer Shmily Ungar, setting a patriotic tone for the evening.
Both Senator Cruz and Congressman Lawler addressed the crowd, speaking about key national issues and the importance of strong leadership representing the Hudson Valley and Rockland County.
Tzvi Y. Waldman, Vice Chair of the Ramapo GOP, served as the evening’s MC.
Lawler is a liar, just like Trump, who he sucks up to. He voted for cuts to Medicaid so millionaires could get a tax cut. And it’s obvious he panders to the Bloc voters who add nothing to the community but take as much as they can. As a Jew, I find it disgraceful.
