Senator Bill Weber Visits Chemlu’s Renowned Lekulam Pre-Vocational program in New City For Young adults With Developmental Disabilities

Senator Bill Weber paid a visit to Chemlu’s renowned Lekulam Prevocational Program for young adults with developmental disabilities. Lekulam is recognized for this exceptional program, which operates six hours a day and provides one-on-one staffing.

Lekulam offers customized programming for young adults to help each one develop job skills and self-confidence in their areas of interest. Following training, program participants are placed in various jobs and volunteering positions, where their contributions to the community give them pride as they achieve practical experience, personal recognition and independence.
