New York State Senator Bill Weber will host his 4th Annual Senior Fair on Wednesday, September 23, at Rockland Community College’s Eugene Levy Fieldhouse in Suffern. The event will run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
According to Weber’s office, 179 vendors have registered for this year’s event, which is expected to make it the largest Senior Fair ever held in Rockland County. The fair will bring together state and local agencies, healthcare organizations, nonprofits, senior service providers, businesses and community organizations.
Seniors will be able to take advantage of a wide range of free services, including liver screenings, memory tests, flu shots, diabetes and blood pressure screenings, RSV and pneumonia vaccines, DMV mobile services, unclaimed funds searches and multilingual assistance.
Golf cart shuttles will be available from the parking areas, and a free lunch will be served beginning at 11:15 AM, with a kosher option available.
Admission is free for seniors age 55 and older, and no RSVP is required. Opening remarks and a press conference are scheduled for 10:30 AM.
