New York State Senator Bill Weber’s office facilitated a meeting between State Fire Administrator James B. Cable, Deputy Fire Administrator Luci Labriola-Cuffe, local fire chiefs, and Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services Coordinator Chris Kear to discuss strengthening firefighter training and improving recruitment and retention efforts.
The collaborative discussion focused on the challenges facing local fire departments and ways state and county officials can better support firefighters and emergency services across Rockland County.
