Senator Bill Weber visited the Noble Wines showroom and its beautifully designed Tuscan-style wine cellar on Tuesday, October 8.
The visit served to celebrate and recognize the unprecedented success of Noble Wines, a new local business based in Pomona that distributes wine nationwide.
While Abe Israel discussed how Noble Wines has become a staple in kosher wine and liquor stores throughout New York and New Jersey, the gathering also recognized the ongoing success of the Baglietti wines campaign, prominently featured on billboards along major roads. With its unique taste and iconic bottle, Baglietti has become a household name in New York and is gaining nationwide attention.
Senator Weber expressed his ongoing commitment to local small businesses. He also shared how impressed he is by Abe’s talents in guiding the company’s meteoric growth.
Abe Israel is the son of well-known European wine producer Robby Israel, who has carved out his own path in the wine industry as a distributor of high-quality kosher wines. Abe became a U.S. citizen after moving from Belgium to Rockland County and steadily built his career.
“Small businesses represent the heart of this district,” Senator Weber shared. “Every individual success story like Abe’s, a recent immigrant who has already accomplished so much due to drive and perseverance, is another brick in building a solid foundation for the entire community. That kind of success is something to congratulate and encourage.”
“Our journey started small,” Abe Israel stated, “but thank God, with dedication and passion for great wines, we’ve built Noble Wines into a trusted name. It’s incredibly rewarding to see our wines in stores across New York and New Jersey, especially after the Baglietti campaign, which has made it a top choice for households and parties throughout the state. And it’s also rewarding to be recognized by Senator Bill Weber, a savvy businessman in his own right, for all the hard work and grit it has taken to reach this plateau while we continue, God willing, in this incredibly rewarding trajectory.”
Shea Gefen, Noble Wines’ New York salesperson, spelled out his career vision with the Senator, and Sam Farkas, another local businessman, shared his success in selling U.S.-made cosmetics to China, which received further accolades from the Senator.
Overall, it was a positive gathering where attendees appreciated Senator Weber’s encouragement for local entrepreneurship and the productive discussions about advancing local industries and overcoming bureaucratic challenges.
