Satmar Ruv Avram Hirsch Wosner (13 Monsey Boulevard) met with New York State Senator Bill Weber to support the Senator’s reelection campaign.
After discussing pressing concerns of the community and recognizing all of the critical assistance the Senator has provided over the past two years, which the Rebbe shared he has been following through various news outlets, the Ruv made an unprecedented request.
“Rabbi Wosner asked for my personal cell phone,” Senator Weber said, “saying he wants to make sure he can reach me to call and congratulate me when I win the election on Tuesday. He told me that he couldn’t get through to me two years ago when he wanted to call. I certainly made sure that this time around, he would be able to reach me without a problem. I definitely look forward to that call.”
