A tractor-trailer filled with sand overturned this morning at the intersection of Ladentown Road and Mountain Road in Pomona, causing emergency services to spring into action. The Ramapo Police, Hillcrest Fire Department, Hatzalah EMS, and Spring Hill EMS responded promptly to the scene.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as a result of the incident. The authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident and have begun cleanup efforts to remove the sand and the vehicle.
