The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of play yards sold on Amazon by the brand Anna Queen, citing hazardous defects that pose a serious risk of suffocation or entrapment to infants. The recall warns that the product violates the mandatory federal safety standard for play yards and should be taken out of use immediately.
The recalled units were sold online beginning in March 2025 for about $100 to $110. The product features mesh side panels, a black fabric body with gray borders, and white top rails printed with bear designs. It is labeled with model number P700 and a production date reading “202503.”
According to the CPSC, the defects could allow babies to become trapped under the mattress or between the mattress and the sides of the play yard, creating a potentially lethal suffocation hazard. Federal regulators say the structure does not meet the minimum safety requirements intended to keep the sleeping surface secure and free of dangerous gaps. Although no injuries have been reported, officials emphasize that the risk is severe enough to warrant immediate removal from use.
The play yards were distributed by Guangzhou Tinger Trading Co. Ltd., operating under the name Anna Queen, and were manufactured in China. Parents and caregivers who purchased the product are being instructed to stop using it and contact the company for a full refund by emailing tingerservice@outlook.com.
Refunds require the consumer to destroy the item before disposal: owners must remove the fabric cover, cut the mattress pad and cover, and send a photo of the destroyed unit to the manufacturer. Only after submitting proof will a refund be processed.
