Rockland Paramedic Services Successfully Completes NYS Department Of Health EMS Inspection

Rockland Paramedic Services (RPS) has successfully completed its latest full agency inspection conducted by the New York State Department of Health (NYS-DOH) Division of State Emergency Medical Services.

The comprehensive inspection evaluated the agency’s compliance with numerous operational standards, including Public Health Law, New York Codes, Rules and Regulations, controlled substance management, internal policies and procedures, continuing education programs, quality assurance practices, and personnel records, among other areas.

According to RPS officials, the inspection confirmed that the agency meets the strict standards required by the state to operate as an advanced emergency medical service provider.

RPS leadership extended special thanks to Capt. Marques and Lt. Greer, along with the agency’s supervisory staff, for their dedicated efforts in ensuring that equipment, medical supplies, and emergency vehicles were fully prepared and inspection ready.

Officials noted that the successful inspection reflects the professionalism and commitment of the entire Rockland Paramedic Services team to maintaining the highest standards of emergency medical care for the community.
