Earlier today, board members from the Jewish Federation of Rockland, together with Ethan Erlich, Senior Regional Security Director for the Community Security Initiative (CSI), visited police stations across the county to deliver boxes of fresh rugelach as a gesture of appreciation for local law enforcement.
Stops included the Orangetown, Spring Valley, Ramapo, Haverstraw, and Clarkstown Police Departments, as well as the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office. The effort was meant to recognize the men and women who continue working around the clock, especially during the busy holiday season to keep the community safe.
“As tensions rise around the country, we wanted to personally thank our partners in law enforcement for their ongoing commitment to protecting every resident of Rockland County,” Ethan Erlich told Monsey Scoop. “Their professionalism, vigilance, and dedication, day in and day out, make all the difference. We’re grateful for their service, and it’s important for the community to show that gratitude as well.”
Officials encouraged residents to take a moment this season to thank officers for their work and sacrifice on behalf of the entire community.
