Rockland Emergency Management Team Attends Statewide Preparedness Conference

Rockland County’s Fire and Emergency Services Division continues to prioritize training and preparedness for the safety of local residents.

Two members of the County’s Emergency Management Division recently attended the New York State Department of Homeland Security’s Disaster Preparedness Commission Conference. The annual event brought together emergency management professionals from across the country to discuss best practices in large gathering preparedness and share case studies from real-world incidents.

“This conference provides valuable insight and collaboration opportunities with experts statewide,” officials said. “Our team remains committed to ongoing learning and training to ensure Rockland County is ready for any emergency that comes our way.”
