Rockland DA, Homeland Security, and Local Agencies Execute Search Warrant at Haverstraw Smoke Shop Following Multi-Agency Investigation

On Friday, law enforcement agencies, including the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Town of Haverstraw Police Department, and various New York State agencies, executed a search warrant at a smoke shop located at 48 Broadway in the Village of Haverstraw. The search was the result of a multi-agency investigation prompted by public complaints.

Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh commented on the operation, stating, “In collaboration with our federal, state, and local partners, we executed a search warrant at a smoke shop in the Village of Haverstraw. Today’s action underscores the importance of lawful business operations in Rockland County.”

The agencies involved in the investigation include the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, the New York State Office of Cannabis Management, and the Town of Haverstraw Police Department.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have indicated that further details will be provided as they become available.
