Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II announced felony charges following the execution of a search warrant that uncovered narcotics and cash at a Haverstraw residence.
On June 12, 2025, members of the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Haverstraw Police Department and the Rockland County REACT team, conducted a court-authorized search at a local home. Authorities seized over half an ounce of a white chunky substance containing cocaine, along with $2,306 in cash.
The residence’s two occupants, Victor Esteban, 37, and Yohelina Camilo, 34, were arrested and each charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree—classified as class “B” felonies.
Under current New York bail laws, the offenses do not qualify for bail, and both individuals were released on their own recognizance following arraignment in Haverstraw Town Court.
The case is being prosecuted by Senior Assistant District Attorney John Longo and Assistant District Attorney Eleanor Reilly.
