Rockland County Volunteer Firefighters’ Association Mourns the Loss of Stewart Rhymer

The Rockland County Volunteer Firefighters’ Association (RCVFA) is mourning the passing of Stewart Rhymer, who served as both Director and Chaplain of the organization. A dedicated member of Hillcrest Fire Company No. 1, Rhymer was widely respected for his service and leadership within the fire community.

His wife, Gwendolyn Rhymer, is an active member of the Hillcrest Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, underscoring the family’s deep-rooted involvement in local volunteer firefighting efforts.
