County Executive Ed Day, County Legislature Chairman Jay Hood Jr. and the Rockland County Planning Department are pleased to announce that the Envision Rockland Final Draft Plan is available for public review at www.envisionrockland.com.
The Final Draft reflects months of collaboration and engagement with residents, community organizations, municipal leaders, stakeholders, and members of the project Working Group. Their feedback and perspectives have helped shape a comprehensive vision for Rockland County’s future.
The Rockland County Legislature has scheduled two public hearings on the Final Draft Plan:
- Tuesday, July 14, 2026
- Tuesday, August 4, 2026
The public comment period will begin on July 14, 2026, and remain open through August 4, 2026. Written comments may be submitted by email to RCPlan@co.rockland.ny.us and will be considered alongside testimony received during the public hearings.
