Rockland County to Light Up the Skies with Multiple July 2–5 Fireworks Celebrations

Rockland County is gearing up for a festive Independence Day weekend, with fireworks displays, musical performances, and patriotic programs planned across the area from July 2nd through July 6th.

In Nyack, the annual Fourth of July celebration will take place at Memorial Park on Thursday, July 4th. Festivities begin at 6:00 PM, with live music by The Jersey Four—a tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons—at 7:00 PM. A fireworks show will cap off the evening at dusk, around 10:00 PM.

Clover Stadium in Pomona will host fireworks displays following the New York Boulders baseball games on July 3rd, 4th, and 5th. The first pitch on July 3rd is scheduled for 6:30 PM, and for July 4th and 5th at 6:00 PM. Fans are invited to stay after the games to enjoy the fireworks lighting up the night sky.

In Haverstraw, Bowline Point Park will feature its annual fireworks display on Wednesday, July 2nd, beginning at 9:30 PM. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure a good viewing spot.

In addition to the fireworks, history buffs can take part in a special Independence Day program at the Stony Point Battlefield State Historic Site. On Saturday, July 5th and Sunday, July 6th, the site will host a lecture and public reading of the Declaration of Independence. The program begins at 1:30 PM on both days at 44 Battlefield Road in Stony Point, offering an educational and meaningful way to reflect on the nation’s founding.

With events spanning several days and offering something for everyone, Rockland County residents will have plenty of opportunities to celebrate Independence Day this year.
