Rockland County to Establish Medical Reserve Corps with New Grant

The Rockland County Department of Health has announced the approval of a grant from the New York State Department of Health/Office of Emergency Preparedness/Health Research.

Deputy Commissioner Kevin McKay, along with staff from the Emergency Preparedness Unit, joined County Executive Ed Day to secure the funding.

The grant will be utilized to establish, enhance, and support a Medical Reserve Corps program within Rockland County. This initiative aims to bolster the county’s emergency preparedness and response capabilities.
