Rockland County Supervisors Address Key Issues at Palisades Institute Summit

The annual Palisades Institute Summit at Dominican College brought together Rockland County’s town supervisors for a comprehensive panel discussion on pressing local issues. The panel, which included business leaders and invited guests, focused on critical topics such as economic development, governance, local infrastructure, law enforcement challenges, and the growing need for affordable housing in Rockland County.

The event featured the participation of five town supervisors: Jim Monaghan of Stony Point, George Hoehmann of Clarkstown, Teresa Kenny of Orangetown, Howard Phillips of Haverstraw, and Michael Specht of Ramapo. They were joined by Dominican University President Dr. Manuel Martinez, adding valuable insights from an educational perspective. Together, they addressed the challenges and opportunities that shape the future of Rockland County’s communities.
