Rockland County Standardizes Philips Medical AED Defibrillators Across Agencies

In a move to streamline emergency response, Rockland County Executive Ed Day, alongside Rockland County Department of Health Acting Commissioner Kevin McKay and EMS Coordinator Desiree Leone, has approved a resolution for the standardization of Philips Medical AED defibrillators.

The decision ensures that various County agencies will exclusively utilize these defibrillators and their associated accessories.

This move capitalizes on the fact that agency personnel are already trained in the use of this specific equipment, optimizing the speed and efficiency of potential life-saving interventions.
