Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Welcomes Meagan Price as New 911 Radio Operator

The Rockland County Sheriff’s Office 911/Communications Division announced the addition of Meagan Price as its newest Radio Operator, marking a significant milestone for the county’s emergency communications team.

Price successfully completed more than 1,000 hours of intensive study and supervised practice through the division’s nationally accredited training program, which included classroom instruction and live, on-the-job operations. She also passed four national certification exams, qualifying her to serve as a frontline communications professional supporting emergency responders across Rockland County.

A graduate of North Rockland High School, Price previously worked as an EMT in Rockland County and is an active member of SW Johnson SFE Co No 1, a volunteer fire company protecting the Garnerville and West Haverstraw communities.

County officials praised Price’s dedication and commitment to public safety, welcoming her to the Communications Division and congratulating her on this achievement.
