Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Welcomes Daniel Moore as New 911 Radio Operator

The Rockland County Sheriff’s Office 911/Communications Division has welcomed Daniel Moore as its newest Radio Operator following the successful completion of an extensive, nationally accredited training program.

Moore completed more than 1,000 hours of classroom instruction and supervised on-the-job training, and passed four national certification exams as part of the program. A resident of Stony Point, Moore is a graduate of North Rockland High School and continued his studies at Rockland Community College and Stony Brook University.

Officials say he is fully prepared to serve the community as part of the county’s emergency communications team.
