Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Promotes Paul Joachim to Chief of Corrections

The Rockland County Sheriff’s Office announced the promotion of Paul Joachim to Chief of Corrections, effective January 1, 2026, according to Sheriff Louis Falco III.

Chief Joachim began his career with the County of Rockland in January 1995 and was appointed as a Correction Officer in September 2003. Over the years, he advanced steadily through the ranks of the Corrections Division, earning recognition for his dedication, professionalism, and leadership. The Sheriff’s Office congratulated Chief Joachim on his well-deserved promotion and extended best wishes as he assumes leadership of the Corrections Division in his new role.
