Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Communications Division Participates in APCO Certification Program

Last week, members of the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Communications Division attended the APCO International Communications Center Supervisor (CCS) certification program (Class 16-2024-CCS-04).

The program brought together fifteen dedicated 9-1-1 professionals from Orange, Westchester, Ulster, and Rockland counties. The training was conducted by R. Lee Sentell, CPE, ENP, a Radio Communications Specialist at the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, Communications Division.

This certification highlights the commitment of these public safety professionals to improving the quality and effectiveness of 9-1-1 services in their communities.
