Rockland County Seeks Community Input on Future Housing & Development Plans

The Rockland County Office of Community Development is inviting residents to take part in shaping the future of housing and community development in the county. To gather public input, the office will be hosting an open house event where attendees can share their thoughts and help prioritize initiatives focused on affordable housing and community development for low- and moderate-income residents.

The open house will take place on Wednesday, March 12, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Valley Cottage Library, located at 110 Route 303, Valley Cottage, NY 10989. Residents will have the opportunity to participate in interactive activities and discussions designed to identify the most pressing housing and development needs within the community.

For those unable to attend in person, an online survey is available to collect additional feedback. Residents can participate by visiting https://arcg.is/1rn5DP2 and sharing their insights on housing and community priorities.

This initiative is part of Rockland County’s ongoing efforts to address housing challenges and enhance community development programs. County officials encourage all residents to participate and make their voices heard in shaping policies that will impact the future of their neighborhoods.
