Rockland County Secures Grant to Enhance 911 Services

Rockland County has secured a $176,964 grant from the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services.

This funding, approved by County Executive Ed Day and Fire and Emergency Services Director Chris Kear, will reimburse the costs associated with operating the county’s enhanced 911 system.

The grant aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of emergency response services for county residents.
