Rockland County Secures $252K for Substance Abuse Prevention

Rockland County Executive Ed Day, joined by Village of Haverstraw Mayor Michael Kohut and Department of Mental Health Coordinator Janet Sliva, signed off on a resolution yesterday, greenlighting $252,745 in state funding from the New York State Office of Addiction Services.

The funds will bolster primary prevention and counseling services in the Village of Haverstraw, intensifying efforts to combat substance abuse within the community.
