Rockland County Renews Vital Emergency Radio Communication Agreement

Rockland County Executive Ed Day, alongside Sheriff Louis Falco and Fire and Emergency Services Director Chris Kear, has announced the renewal of an agreement to maintain the county’s essential radio communication system. This system, located at the Sheriff’s Communication Center, enables seamless communication among local fire, police, emergency services, and other agencies.

The 911 Communications Center operates 24/7, serving as a critical link between the public and emergency response teams. This renewed agreement reinforces Rockland County’s commitment to providing first responders with the tools they need to operate efficiently and effectively, particularly during emergencies and crises.

The agreement reflects the county’s ongoing dedication to public safety and investment in infrastructure to support emergency services across the region.
