The Rockland County PBA is commending the professionalism, dedication, and coordination displayed by law enforcement agencies during President Donald Trump’s historic visit to Rockland County on May 22, 2026.
According to the PBA, the large-scale operation brought together agencies from across Rockland County and the surrounding region, led by the United States Secret Service, the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, the Ramapo Police Department, and the New York State Police.
The organization praised the extensive coordination between Sheriff Louis Falco’s office, the Police Chiefs Association of Rockland County, and numerous participating agencies, calling the operation an example of the “highest standard in law enforcement.”
The PBA said the success of the event was made possible through the dedication and professionalism of its members, along with members of the Ramapo PBA and Haverstraw PBA. Officials noted that the operation required significant planning, teamwork, and cooperation among agencies tasked with ensuring the safety of residents, visitors, and attendees throughout the presidential visit.
From traffic control and crowd management to security operations and emergency response preparedness, law enforcement personnel and partner agencies worked seamlessly together throughout the event, according to the statement.
The Rockland County PBA also extended its appreciation to the United States Secret Service for its leadership and partnership during the operation. The organization said the strong working relationship between local, county, state, and federal agencies was recognized by the Secret Service and reflected the preparedness and professionalism of Rockland County law enforcement.
In its statement, the PBA described the presidential visit as not only historic for Rockland County, but also a reminder of the unity and collaboration within the law enforcement community.
The organization additionally thanked outside agencies, first responders, and support personnel who assisted in the operation, including the Police Chiefs Association of Rockland County, the Ramapo PBA, and the Haverstraw PBA, for their contributions and support.
Special recognition was also given to the Ramapo PBA Finest Foundation and numerous local businesses that provided food and drinks to the many law enforcement officers, first responders, and essential personnel working behind the scenes during the event.
