Rockland County Partners with Laufer’s Gourmet to Provide Kosher Meals for Seniors

Rockland County Executive Ed Day has approved a $130,000 agreement with Laufer’s Gourmet and the Rockland County Office for the Aging to deliver kosher meals to eligible senior citizens across the county.

This initiative aims to support the dietary and nutritional needs of the county’s aging population while ensuring that those who require kosher meals can access them conveniently. The program underscores Rockland County’s commitment to serving its diverse community and enhancing the quality of life for its senior residents.

Eligible seniors are encouraged to contact the Rockland County Office for the Aging to learn more about the program and how to participate.
