The Rockland County Park System has reached a new milestone, expanding to a network of 30 parks that cover a total of 3,179 acres. This growth aims to provide residents with easy access to local parks, helping them avoid traffic congestion and long drives to enjoy nature’s beauty.
The park system offers a diverse array of recreational opportunities. Residents can explore undeveloped, wild state parks, visit parks with playgrounds and picnic areas, utilize boat launches, and even enjoy dedicated dog parks.
